Juice WRLD’s “Flaws and Sins” Lyrics Meaning

The song “Flaws and Sins” is about the nonjudgmental bliss Juice WRLD is experiencing in regards to his new shorty. In fact he adores even her unfavorable qualities. And this appears to be the same woman he raps about during the latter part of “Who Shot Cupid?”, another of the tracks featured on the Death Race for Love album.

For instance, in “Flaws and Sins” he brings up the fact that he has been “traumatized” in the past, which is likely an allusion to the heartbreak he chronicled in “Who Shot Cupid?”, where he compared his emotionally-abusive ex-girlfriend to his inspiring new love. However, this time around, his focus isn’t really on his ex at all. Rather this song is to let his new sweetheart – and indeed the world – know how much he appreciates her.

Truly this current romance has been so revelatory that it has Juice thanking God and acknowledging karma, even though he doesn’t even believe in the latter. And while he greatly enjoys engaging in intimate congress with her, their relationship is much deeper than that. For instance, she has encouraged him to stop abusing drugs. Also he is not afraid to open up to her and encourages her to do the same. And this is not due to homegirl being perfect in his eyes. Indeed he acknowledges her “flaws and sins” but has fallen in love with them also, and her “scars” appear as beauty marks to him. She emits a light in his world that cannot be put out even amidst the darkness that surrounds him. Or to put things succinctly, Juice WRLD is so enamored with homegirl that he is ready to marry her.
