“Last Text” by Jacob Sartorius

Before getting into music, Jacob Sartorius had already established himself as a social media star. Accordingly some of his tracks are centered on internet-based interactions.  Such is the case with “Last Text”. Moreover, many of them have a romantic vibe.

Indeed this is one of Jacob’s more-overt love songs from the first stage of his music career. And basically, it is themed on him addressing his loved one and chatting with her online. What he is telling her is that she is “always the last text” he “send(s) before bed”.  Or stated otherwise, he can’t go to sleep at night unless he first gives her a shoutout. And of course said transmission is to remind her just how much he cares.

This is the title track from Jacob Sartorius’s first EP which is entitled, in full, “The Last Text EP”. The T3 Music Group issued this track as the fourth single from the EP on 22 December 2016.

And it should also be noted that Jacob’s first international tour, in which he performed in seven different countries, was also called The Last Text World Tour.
