“Let Me Know (I Wonder Why Freestyle)” by Juice WRLD

Juice WRLD’s “Let Me Know” is a freestyle track. So its subject matter can change at any given moment. And this is most evident in the first verse where in one line Juice may be expressing affection for a particular female. But in the next he’s dissin’ dudes who are depicted more or less as opps. Indeed in the second verse WRLD states that he’s “talking dumb”, which is indicative of him suffering from something like temporary writer’s block shall we say.

But overall this track is indeed intended to be a love song. And its title is based on the artist trying to ascertain the true feelings of his romantic interest. In other words, he is concerned about her wellbeing. And the lyrics read as if they have already broken up, and he is trying to sell her on the idea of coming back to him.

So what Juice is actually ‘wondering’ is how his ex-girlfriend is doing. And in the midst of questioning her current circumstances he also dedicates a few lines to bad mouthing some dudes he apparently has beef with.

This is a freestyle Juice WRLD originally dropped back on 15 June 2017. It took over two years to blow up on social media, specifically TikTok. Thus Interscope Records and Grade A Productions opted to remix and officially release the song later on 7 December 2019.

This track was originally featured on Juice WRLD’s self-released fourth EP, “JuiceWRLD 9 9 9”.

And “Let Me Know (I Wonder Why Freestyle)” was written by Juice WRLD and his regular collaborator, Nick Mira, who also produced the track.
