Meaning of “Suge” by DaBaby
The title of this track is due to the artist, DaBaby, comparing himself to Marion “Suge” Knight in that like Suge he is “a young CEO”. Another way he seeks to emulate Knight apparently is by establishing himself as a credible street dude. And in that regard, DaBaby lets “ni**a(s)” know that he has enough dough to put out a contract on opps as opposed to rolling up them himself. But he also enlightens the listener that if need be he is willing to catch a “body”, as in kill someone himself, even apparently citing a real-life killing he was involved in at a Wal-Mart.
During some parts of the song, such as when he recounts the tale of a female fan with a jealous boyfriend, DaBaby’s lyrical skills really come to the forefront. But although this song may be presented in a comedic fashion, it features some very-serious content, as its primary topic is basically DaBaby’s lethalness when it comes to gun violence.

imma be real, is it wrong to disagree and express your disagreement of something? like saying someone is homophobic is getting mad at them for disagreeing with something you agree with (some of the time), and disagreeing with others is just democracy i think
