His need for a new experience is strong and evident in the way he states that only God knows. In the first verse, Luke is asked by his male colleagues his plans for the night, and he responds that he wants to get loose, signifying that he wants to go wild or move freely. In the second verse and chorus however, he talks to a lady and tells her that he’s setting the mood to go wild. This could either be a call for an adventurous trip, or it could have sexual annotations. Either way, the artist is clear on the fact that he is no longer satisfied with his current environment and needs to go somewhere he has never been.
