“Dance Again” by Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez’s “Dance Again” reads as a self-embellishment anthem. The premise is that the singer has recently dealt with serious depression. But instead of letting such a negative temperament overtake her mind set, she has resolved to engage in actions to edify herself. Or stated differently, she is now operating under the notion that happiness is something that must actively be sought out and that self-confidence is manifest by her casting aside all timidity.

So when Selena states that it “feels so good to dance again”, the word dance is actually tantamount to allowing herself to enjoy life as opposed to getting busy on the dance floor. That is to the say that the vocalist seems to have rediscovered a zest for living. And this time around, she’s going to make more of a conscientious effort to bravely live life to the fullest.
