“Hurts Like Hell” is the title of a single by American singer Madison Beer. The song also features rapper Offset of the hip hop music trio Migos. “Hurts Like Hell” is a break-up song. On this tune, Madison severely scorns her ex boyfriend for dumping her and going after someone new. However, the new girl he dumps her for apparently doesn’t bring him any happiness. Now he is lonely and missing Madison. He wishes he never dumped her.
In the chorus, Madison categorically lets him know how unsympathetic she is to his plight. As a matter of fact she is glad he is suffering. She even goes as far as hoping that the pain he’s facing is intensified.
As for Offset, he uses the last verse of the song to talk about his failed relationship too. In his verse, he tells the brief tale of an ex who was unfaithful to him while they were together. He concludes the verse by telling her he no longer wants her in his life.
So in all, this track can be said to be about a failed relationship (brought on by infidelity) revenge.
