“Slim Peter” by Wiz Khalifa

Simply put, Wiz Khalifa’s “Slim Peter” is braggadocious in nature. In it Khalifa presents himself as the man, i.e. someone who has money, women and is quite-successful professionally. And of course the song wouldn’t be complete if he didn’t give a shoutout to “bomb-a*s weed”, i.e. high-quality grass.

Meanwhile as far as the track’s title goes, based on the cover art it would be a reference to a cartoon character named Peter Griffin from the iconic “Family Guy” series. It was actually one of Wiz Khalifa’s fans on social media who came up with this humorous appellation (and another fan the cover art) after the rapper previewed this rap online.  Then the name caught on with other fans, and Wiz decided to keep it.

“Slim Peter” was written by Khalifa, and the producer of the track is Statik Selektah.

“Slim Peter” was officially dropped on 8 July 2020. It is as the lead single from Wiz Khalifa’s “Big Pimpin” project.
