“Sunflower” is a 2018 track by American recording artists Post Malone and Swae Lee. The lyrics of “Sunflower” basically tell the tale of a rocky romantic relationship.  Malone and Lee penned this tract purposely for the 2018 animated superhero film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The film stars the likes of Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson and Mahershala Ali.

• “Sunflower” was co-penned by Post Malone, Swae Lee and three others, including noted American music producer/songwriter Louis Bell. The other two are Billy Wash and Carter Lang.
• The production of “Sunflower” was handled by Bell and Lang (both of whom also co-wrote it).
• “Sunflower” received its official release on October 18, 2018.
• Prior to the song’s official release, Post played a very small snippet of it during his appearance on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on October 1, 2018.
• Despite this song being a collaborative effort between Lee and Malone, some assume it to be the workd of only Malone. It is actually a collaboration between both artists.
