“Vibes” by Trippie Redd
This song is an ode to Trippie Redd’s income. Or as he puts it, “it’s a vibe when that money coming in”. That’s basically another way of saying that when the cash is flowing, he gets excited. And along those lines, the track’s singular verse seems to be based on how the rapper celebrates his wealth.
Or, at least that’s one way of interpreting it. Indeed as with some other songs found on Trip at Knight, this is yet another in which the chorus doesn’t necessarily seem to be in congruence with the verse. For instance, the main topic of the latter is apparently Trippie’s interactions with women, most notably strippers and how he isn’t privy on paying for their services, or something like that.
And Redd also references his haters, specifically how such individuals tend to wish him harm. But obviously with this track being barely over two minutes in length, the goal wasn’t to get too deep into the subject matter at hand in the first place.
