“Ojitos Lindos” by Bad Bunny and Bomba Estéreo
“Ojitos Lindos” is a romantic piece with a male and female vocalist taking on said roles. Thus, there’s plenty of lovey-dovey metaphors being thrown around, as evident by the title (which translates to “Pretty Eyes”). But what it all ultimately boils down to is the two of them, post-breakup obviously, having come to the realization that they belong together.
In other words, Li Saumet and Bunny were already an item but went their separate ways. And maybe at first everything was all good, with the former going about her business, and the latter mixing it up with other women. But now, things have reached a point where their hearts can no longer tolerate the other’s absence, which is basically the thesis sentiment of this piece.
