“25 Million” by Roddy Ricch

There are conflicting reports as to Roddy Ricch’s actual net worth. And whereas none of the major ones indicate that he has actually made some $25,000,000 in a single day, as implied by the chorus, he is still apparently a multi-millionaire and, based on the lyrical content of his songs, living that associated life.

Indeed “25 Million” is the closing track on his album “Live Life Fast”. And this song is a fitting choice as the project’s closer considering that its most memorable points – Roddy’s references to being wealthy and his overly-graphic depictions of bedroom fun – are also arguably the most notably recurring themes throughout the entire album.

Besides that “25 Million”, to some degree, can also be regarded as a come-up song, one in which Roddy notes that he’s always aspired to be rich and has in fact achieved that goal, in a legal way even.

So it can be said that this chorus is one of the more overt celebrations of his success, as opposed to centering on what the connected wealth affords him per se. But in the grand scheme of things, as implied earlier, this track really isn’t that different from the rest of the songs found on “Live Life Fast”.
