“Twin” by Roddy Ricch (ft. Lil Durk)

To call someone your “twin” in this context doesn’t mean that the two of you are siblings who were born at the same time. Rather, it points to the notion of the person you’re ‘twins’ with being someone who thinks and acts just like you. As presented in this song, so is the relationship between Roddy Ricch and Lil Durk.

But besides for that observation, this song is standard fare as far as these artists are concerned. That is to say for instance that in terms of being “twins”, one thing Ricch and Durk do have in common is owning “matching Benz”. Or put more bluntly, the vocalists proceed to brag primarily about their wealth and furthermore living the type of lives which the hip-hop community tends to idealize.
